Now, if you want to become a top producer, I’ve got some advice for you that you should take to heart, which is stay away from Vampires. Now, I’m not taking about your basic, nocturnal, blood sucking, type vampires, I’m talking about Energy Vampires. If you’re a positive, energetic person, you know what I’m talking about. These people can suck the life right out of you with their humdrum, the sky is falling, everything sucks, miserable attitudes.

Now, I’m sure you’ve known this type of person, you know, he’s the one who holds the parking lot meetings after the company announces a new policy and he feels it’s his personal obligation to all his fellow coworkers to let them know just how unfair it all is. This person generally has a disturbing home life and they feel the need to share their misfortune with everyone they come in contact with. The thing is if we aren’t careful, we can feed into their misery and become just as depressed as they are.

Every top producing salesperson agrees that to become the best, you have to be on top your game at all times, to have your game face on. And to accomplish this, you have to give yourself a checkup from the neck up on a daily basis. Remember it’s all about PMA; Positive Mental Attitude. To consistently make sales, we have to maintain strict discipline; to have laser sharp focus and peak energy levels at all times. So, you won’t need a string of garlic and a crucifix to ward off the vampires, simply distance or shield yourself from any form of negativity they throw your way.
